Keep Up With Game of Thrones Actors After the Show Wraps Up

09.04.2019

Winter is at its door, but we all know that’s a big fat lie. Winter is coming, and it is happening in April; and with the new series of Game of Thrones, which unfortunately is the one ending the show, we thought we were not ready to say goodbye to any of the cast members just yet. If there won’t be any more dragons flying on our screens or some Northerner swearing AF, gruesome battles and the incumbent terror of the white walkers, after the very last episode we will surely struggle to forget all about the great  ìcharacters the series brought into the entertainment industry.

We thought knowing the cinema whereabouts of the characters after the end of Game of Thrones would one hell of a good way to compensate the great void its ending will leave in our Monday or Sunday nights (according to where you are located). Are you ready to take notes, as we are about to give you all the next movies and TV shows where you will be able to re-join with your favourite GoT stars.

From D360's Closet

Kit Harington

Will the King of the North finally sit on the iron throne? This one of the final season of GoT‘s most anticipated plot developments. In the meantime, we can tell you Jon Snow will be back in the How to Train Your Dragon saga, and you will be able to hear him again as the voice of Eret in The Hidden World. Has Kit developed a thing for dragons? It looks like it.

Lena Headey

Cersei Lannister will be playing the mother in a quirky family who has a rather odd passion, wrestling; starring in 2019 drama based on a true story ‘Fighting With My Family’, Lena Headey will appear next to Dwayne Johnson and Vince Vaughn.

Coming after WWE, she will appear on immigration drama ‘The Flood’, as a British immigration officer working in Calais, deciding the fate of the migrants who seek asylum in the UK. In an interview with Variety Heady stated: ‘What I hope, personally, is we change 10 minds, or people reconsider how they feel about someone who has lost everything’. The movie also sees GoT star Iain Glen amongst the cast.

Sophie Turner

Sansa Stark will go back to being another young strong woman; she is Jean Gray, the Phoenix, an extremely powerful mutant in the 12th instalment of the X-Men series. For the role she had to study schizophrenia and other mental disorders to be able to switch between the two opposite characters.

Peter Dinklage

Tyrion Lannister is another GoT character we all have to keep up with as he has already starred in Marvel movies (such as Avengers: Infinity War ) and featured in anything from drama to comedy. Next he will be the voice of Mighty Eagle in The Angry Birds Movie 2.

Maisie Williams

Arya Stark of Winterfell will also star in X-Men universe as Wolfsbane in the ‘X-Men: The New Mutants. The 21 year old is also starring in 2019 release Then Came You, a teen drama where she plays the role of  a teenage affected by a terminal illness – and she’s got long pink hair!

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

The Danish actor will appear in a romantic drama set in Northern Europe called Suicide Tourist, where he plays the role of Max, a detective investigating the disappearance of a young boy that takes him into a world of polar bears and strange suicides. It will be released in November 2019.
