Black Mirror

Charlie Brooker twisted mind – read genius – has prepared a very articulate answer to this question for the 4th season of Black Mirror, a British show purchased to be part of Netflix original series squad in 2014. Each episode is a sort of individual invention: if only Brooke’s visions could ever be realistic, the world we live in now would be screwed.

Will this half-an-hour set in medieval time episodes be able to meet the high expectations – to say the least – a Groening’s new creation can have?

Maniac

At his side Emma Stone and The Leftovers Justin Theroux.

Safe

Everything Sucks!

Kiss Me First

We all know gaming is what drives the millennials into buying, behaving, googling and socialising, so it doesn’t surprise Netflix has come up with a gaming inspired series where a lonely video gaming addict meets a ‘party girl’ online: after their encounter on the gaming platform Agora they are up for a real life one too. But one of them goes missing. Shot in London and Croatia this is one Netflix original TV series we are looking forward to see.

Lost in Space

This adaption of the eponymous 1965 series enters Netflix original series in 2018 with some much anticipated twists from the original: the robot famous for the queue ‘’Danger, Will Robinson!” will feature in a modified form.

O Mecanismo

From the executive producer of Narcos Jose Padilha has now switched to the creator role for a Netflix Original series based on Brazilian corruption scandals around oil and construction companies. Amongst the TV series in original language, ‘O Mecanismo’ is the one to watch.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

Based on the novel 13 by Jay Asher, the title of this Netflix original teen drama has its own reason, one that has been confirmed for a second season coming out in 2018. The story of Hanna Baker and the 13 reasons why she ended up killing herself: bullying, sexual violence can all lead one to committing suicide. Executive producer Selena Gomez has confirmed the second series will talk about another story, which will be picking up after a ‘time jump’. But Hanna will be back.

Ozark

With 16.7m average demand impressions last summer Ozark had he quality of a sleeper-hit and it sounds very much plausible that a new season of this Netflix original has been confirmed for 2018. There aren’t many spoilers available on what this new season will look like, just that Julia Garner (Ruth Langmore), Sofia Hublitz (Charlotte Byrde) from the first season will feature again: for the rest take a look at the teaser.

Kimmy Schmidt is in fact one of the girls that makes it 15 years after being kept hostage in an underground bunker, where the cult’s Reverend Richard Wayne convinced them that doomsday had come. It’s now all about getting a new life in New York: she gets herself a job as a nanny and manages to find herself at the centre of a love triangle. If you don’t know what to watch on Netflix, this show is ideal for plenty of laughter.

Santa Clarita Diet

Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, femme fighters are the protagonists of one of the latest Netflix original TV series. With a second season to be released in 2018, this show is one of the most women empowering television productions out there. Set in Los Angeles by the hand of Orange is The New Black’s executive producer Jenji Kohan, it depicts women stripping off of their vanity, grace and standard femininity to knock each other out on the ring.

American Vandal

With a new season coming out in 2018, this is a good fun show to see on Netflix.

The second series of Netflix Original Making a Murderer is set to be released this 2018 even though Netflix has officially talked about exact dates.  A TV series that made many talk for the depiction of the story of Steven Avery, the true story of a normal Wisconsin guy who spent 18 years in prison for a crime in did not commit.
