Even though we’re just in 2018, a lot can happen in such a short time,such as arrays ofselfies and belfies. With the help of Instagram, the lifestyles of the rich and the famous spread across all sorts of social media platforms like wildfire. Consequently, actors, artists, athletes, influencers and celebrities naturally have the most popular Instagram. Whether they have the most fascinating feeds or just the most loyal fans, it says a lot about what makes us scroll through the endless feeds and what make us hit that “heart” button.

Coming off first, surprise surprise, Selena Gomez! With 134 million followers on her account. It has been 2 years in a row that she’s been maintaining the throne on Instagram. She’s not only an artist and influencer but also the ambassador of Coach! No wonder she is the most followed person on Instagram.

Following up, we’ve got Cristiano Ronaldo with 121 million followers. He, winner of 5 Fifa Ballon D’or, is still the No.1 guy on the top list. Whether it’s a sweaty picture of him or a suit and tie kind of situation, we all enjoy a guy who can get down to both!

Runner up to her big sister, Kylie Jenner, holds quite a big  amount of followers as well – 104 million. Although she’s been quite absent in the past couple months due to her pregnancy, she still holds 104 million followers.
