Turning 50, turning greater than ever: Will Smith

24.09.2018

It is going to be his Big 5 – 0, Will Smith is reaching the middle age milestone. But you would never use the words middle aged and Will Smith in the same sentence, Will You? If you don’t know why this is just not possible, take a look at Will Smith 3-decade career in the entertainment industry.

At 50 he’s as Fresh as any prince can ever be.

Yup, Will Smith is no longer a boy. He’s turning fifty on September 25th and you are invited to his birthday bash too. No kidding. Just tune in the channel below here and enter the ‘competition’ and you might end up living your life dream.

Yup, that was our reaction too, Will Smith doesn’t age. But we don’t think his ‘mature freshness’ is due to luxury skincare or worse surgery (do people still do that?). It’s the way he carries himself. Besides his talents at impersonating anything from hero to comedy killer, his rapping skills and undeniably statuesque figure, Will Smith is still that Will Smith now because he has the greatest and most agreeable persona you can think of amongst Hollywood actors.

And, yup, again, if you are looking for the best and funniest clips featuring the iconic actor, you will simply click on a link that sounds a bit off for somebody aged 50, ‘Will Smith Instagram’. What happens when the legend from I am legend pops at British beauty store Boots? What happens when the Bad Boy(S) stops shoppers to buy a beautifully packaged bottle of water? You can go and check it out here.

Will Smith has done more than 30 movies, some of which happen to be some of the biggest box office hits in cinema history, but if we look back at how his acting career started we are swept away by the effortless likeability of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Plenty of Will Smith’s fans swear they can still remember off by heart 30 years of the show theme song. And we are one of them.

But Will Smith rapping, singing, dancing, acting is ever evolving: he’s up to date and probably as influential as some of the ‘actual’ rappers aim to be.

In Budapest Will Smith put on a non-stunt act in performing his own version of Drake’s #kikichallenge. Guys, that’s so illegal in so many ways!

Drake Almost Got Me Killed (keke, do you love me?)

And when he is not focusing on addressing mainstream rappers, he’s focusing on addressing son Jaden Smith to the right path to stardom. Here is Will Smith duetting with him on his tour. The song is Icon Living, read more about his songs here.

You can also see him in  Live It Up  – Nicky Jam feat. Will Smith & Era Istrefi video, released for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Don’t take us wrong. The man isn’t trying to be omnipresent on social media, he just happens to be good at speaking to the camera, he’s got a natural sense of humour it would be such a pity if he kept it to himself. If there’s one place where we can send you to for watching some Will Smith’s best moments on TV shows, the Graham Norton Show can provide you with the funniest side of his funny personality.

Anyhow,
